You can call Kvinnofridslinjen for support and advice if you encounter victims of violence in your work. You can also ask victims of violence to contact us, or call Kvinnofridslinjen together with your patient/client. We offer interpreting of calls with the help of an interpreting service.

The NCK knowledge bank

The knowledge bank of the National Centre for Knowledge on Men’s Violence against Women is a website for anyone seeking information on domestic violence and men’s violence against women. Researchers and research projects, publications from authorities, subject guides, suggested reading and a search service can all be found here. The knowledge band is only available in Swedish.

Online support for municipalities

The NCK knowledge bank includes a special section for people working at municipalities and in social services with domestic violence and men’s violence against women. This online support includes practical texts, publications from authorities and reports in the form of “learning from real-life scenarios” from various municipalities. The online resources are only available in Swedish.

Online support for healthcare services

The NCK knowledge bank includes a section for people working in healthcare services and dentistry. You’ll find information here on medical care, signs and symptoms of violence and links between exposure to violence and ill-health. You’ll also find examples and videos on how to ask questions about violence, along with procedures for documenting and following up on patients who’ve been subjected to violence. The online resources are only available in Swedish.

Training on violence

Our online course on violence is an introductory course that provides a basic knowledge of domestic violence and men’s violence against women. This course can be used by anyone working in social services, healthcare services, nursing, schools and the legal system. It’s free of charge, and you can take the course individually or as part of a group. The course is available in English.
